Spend a relaxed evening among the vines with soprano Sophie Blades, as she takes you from the soaring beauty of opera to much-loved musical theatre classics and contemporary favourites. You’ll experience music through the ages in one special evening.
Sophie holds a Master of Music Studies in Opera Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and has performed leading opera roles in Australia and overseas. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the Hunter Valley for this special open-air performance, set against the vines and the Broken Back Ranges.
Your ticket includes the performance and a delicious meal by local favourites Elliott’s at Oakvale: a charcuterie cone, a Mediterranean plate, lamb kofta and chicken shish taouk with summer rice salad, lemon tzatziki and pita, followed by Magnum ice cream. Wine beer and cocktails will be available to purchase by the bottle and glass. Bring a camp chair and settle in for an evening of music, community and wonderful food from Elliott’s at Oakvale, in the welcoming atmosphere of Hunter Wine Lab.
Strictly NO BYO food or drinks at this event.
This project is proudly funded by Cessnock City Council.
